A hunter heads into the mountains to heal his broken heart. On the way, he is haunted by visions of the girl who left him. When he loses hope, his dark side comes to life. The shadow leads him to hunt for the mythical Goldhorn. Based on the famous Slovenian folk tale, this is a film about greed and our relationship to nature.

Lea Vučko

Lea Vučko is a film director and animation artist. She studied illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design of the University of Ljubljana. She worked as an animator on projects such as Prince Ki-ki-do, Weasel, Špela Čadež’s animations for Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black and the puppet play Somewhere Else. She is the co-founder of the Octopics production studio. The Legend of Goldhorn is her directorial debut, for which she won the Vesna Award for Best Animated Film.
