Where do the abandoned books go? Goodbye Words is a documentary about books, cycles of existence and acceptance of death. The film reflects on the traces we leave behind and offers solace in the face of the fear of insignificance.

Laura Rantanen

Laura Rantanen is a Finnish documentary filmmaker with a background in social and cultural anthropology. In addition to film and anthropology, she also studied comparative literature at the University of Helsinki. Goodbye Words is her graduation film.
