Screenwriter Adam (Andrew Scott – Fleabag, Sherlock, Black Mirror) and the mysterious Harry (Paul Mescal – Aftersun, Normal People Confessions) accidentally meet one night in the empty hallway of their London building, where they are the only tenants. A relationship soon develops between them and Adam, prompted by the new liaison, decides to visit his hometown. He meets his parents (Claire Foy, Jamie Bell) in the house where he grew up, still living the same life as ever. Only his parents died 30 years ago. All of Us Strangers is a new phantasmagoric film by British director Andrew Haigh (Weekend, 45 Years, Looking), inspired by Taichi Yamada’s novel Strangers.

Andrew Haigh (1973) is a British director and screenwriter. He began his professional career working as an editor and then as an assistant director on films such as Gladiator and Black Hawk Down. In 2009, he shot his first feature film, Greek Pete, followed by the romantic drama Weekend (2011), which transporerted him to fame. He is the creator of the popular HBO series Looking, and his directorial achievements include feature films 45 Years (2015) and Lean on Pete (2017).
