While talking to Croatian director Igor Bezinovi\u0107, Jude will talk about the similarities and differences of his <a href=\"https:\/\/zff.hr\/en\/industry\/masterclass-radu-jude\/\">directorial methods in working on feature and documentary films<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Radu Jude is one of the most renowned European directors of today. He started his career as a director\u2019s assistant, and in 2006 he filmed a short film <em>The Tube with a Hat<\/em> which won more than 50 international awards. Jude\u2019s feature debut, <em>The Happiest Girl in the World<\/em> (2009) was screened at more than 50 international festivals and received a special mention by the Zagreb Film Festival. He followed it by films such as <em>Aferim!, Scarred Hearts<\/em>, and <em>Everybody in Our Family<\/em>, which won numerous awards: the Silver Bear for director at Berlinale 2015, a special jury prize at Locarno 2016, and EFA\u2019s nomination for best scriptwriter. The international premiere of <em>Dead Nation<\/em> (2017) in Locarno was his debut in documentary films. His feature <em>I Do Not Care If We Go Down in History as Barbarians<\/em> (2018) won the Crystal Globe for best film and Europa Cinemas Label in Karlovy Vary.<\/p>\n<p>The event is organized in cooperation with Restart\u2019s long-term Masterclass program.\u00a0You can watch the lecture via this page or via our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ZagrebFilmFestival\">Facebook page<\/a>.
