{"id":26171,"date":"2020-10-28T10:13:12","date_gmt":"2020-10-28T09:13:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/zff.hr\/18-zagreb-film-festival-odrzat-ce-se-u-potpunosti-online\/"},"modified":"2020-10-30T01:46:59","modified_gmt":"2020-10-30T00:46:59","slug":"18-zagreb-film-festival-odrzat-ce-se-u-potpunosti-online","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/2023.zff.hr\/en\/18-zagreb-film-festival-odrzat-ce-se-u-potpunosti-online\/","title":{"rendered":"18th Zagreb Film Festival will be held entirely online"},"content":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":26169,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[1],"tags":[],"acf":[],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf_fields":{"page_builder":false,"content":"<p>In light of the constant rise of coronavirus infected and with the goal of preserving the audience\u2019s and festival crew\u2019s health, <strong>Zagreb Film Festival<\/strong> will be held entirely online, on <a href=\"https:\/\/kinoeuropa.hr\/\"><strong>kinoeuropa.hr<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/croatian.film\/en\/\"><strong>croatian.film<\/strong><\/a> platforms.<\/p>\n<p><em>Preparing for the festival, we wrote a couple of scenarios for ourselves, which we, like an unhappy director, changed, amended, and modified in accordance with new circumstances, rearranging the festival in different combinations between online and offline versions, and all of it so we, as true lovers of film art, could show the films where they belong \u2013 on the big screen.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Following the developments and being witness to a difficult situation in which our healthcare system is, we made the decision that we do not want, in any circumstances, to jeopardize the health of our audience and festival crew. We\u2019ve faced a number of challenges from the start. This one might be our biggest yet. But I firmly believe that we\u2019ll celebrate film as it deserves \u2013 with authors there, physically close to each other, talking and partying,<\/em> said the Zagreb Film Festival director, <strong>Boris T. Mati\u0107.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 18<sup>th<\/sup> Zagreb Film Festival will be held at previously established dates, from November 8<sup>th<\/sup> to 15<sup>th<\/sup>. Films from the main program \u2013 the feature and short competition program and from the Together Again program, as well as from the Great 5 and Festivals in the Spotlight will be shown on <a href=\"https:\/\/kinoeuropa.hr\/\">kinoeuropa.hr<\/a>, and the competition program for domestic short films, Checkers, will be available on <a href=\"https:\/\/croatian.film\/en\/\">croatian.film<\/a> platform. We\u2019ll also hold the INDUSTRY program online, dedicated to film professionals and interested audience.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">All the films from the ZFF\u2019s program will be available online in the Republic of Croatia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In the main program of feature films, we\u2019ll see the already revealed films, an award-winner from Venice, Serbian film <a href=\"http:\/\/zff.hr\/en\/movies\/oasis\/\"><strong><em>Oasis<\/em><\/strong><\/a> by <strong>Ivan Iki\u0107<\/strong>, and Polish film <a href=\"http:\/\/zff.hr\/en\/movies\/sweat\/\"><strong><em>Sweat<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, an interesting character study of a super-successful trainer by <strong>Magnus von Horn<\/strong>.
