Saturday starts with the program for the youngest, the popular program of the KinoKino Festival,<strong> First Time at the Cinema<\/strong>, at 11 AM, at Tu\u0161kanac Cinema, Dubrava Public University and Cultural Center Travno.<\/p>\n<p>At 2 PM at Tu\u0161kanac Cinema, the program continues with the regional hit of this year\u2019s edition, the debut film by Serbian actress and director<strong> Ivana Mladenovi\u0107<\/strong>, <em><strong>Ivana the Terrible<\/strong><\/em>. The film, which premiered in Locarno, where it won the Special Jury Award in the Cineasti del presente program, follows the Serbian actress living in Romania, but due to a psychological crisis decides to spend the summer in her hometown on the Danube with her family, but things quickly turn into a hilarious chaos.<\/p>\n<p>The program The Great 5 program ends at 5 PM at Tu\u0161kanac Cinema with the British film <em><strong>Only You<\/strong><\/em>. This intelligent drama (BFI London Film Festival) questions how much can romance withstand the pressure of raw everyday life.<\/p>\n<p>The day will be marked by two screenings (at 7.30 and 10 PM at Tu\u0161kanac Cinema) of the new film by famous directorial duo <strong>Peter Brosens<\/strong> and <strong>Jessica Woodworth<\/strong>, <a href=\"http:\/\/zff.hr\/en\/movies\/the-barefoot-emperor\/\"><em><strong>The Barefoot Emperor<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, completely filmed in Croatia and in Croatian co-production. The sequel of their successful King of the Belgians brings (mis)adventures of the unusual ruler (Peter Van den Begin) in a constant (and unsuccessful) search for self-discovery which in the previous film led him to a truly painful race across the Balkans.<\/p>\n<p>The film will be presented at the Croatian premiere in Tu\u0161kanac Cinema by producer, screenwriter and director Jessica Woodworth, actor Titus De Voogdt, Bulgarian co-producer Stefan Kitanov, Croatian co-producers Boris T. Mati\u0107 and Lana Mati\u0107 (Propeler Film), costume designer Morana Star\u010devi\u0107, composer Alen Sinkauz, composer and actor Nenad Sinkauz, and actors Darko Stazi\u0107 and Hassan Abdelghani.<\/p>\n<p>Before the screening of <em>The Barefoot Emperor<\/em> at 7.30 PM at Tu\u0161kanac Cinema during the official closing ceremony, this year\u2019s winners and best films of the 17th ZFF will be announced.<\/p>\n<p>Composers Alen and Nenad Sinkauz will also be guests of another Saturday ZFF event within the INDUSTRY program in the Croatian Music Institute at 1 PM, as part of the <a href=\"http:\/\/zff.hr\/en\/industry\/panel-whos-that-playin-over-there-2\/\"><strong>Who\u2019s Playin\u2019 Over There<\/strong><\/a> panel, open to the public. They will talk with leading domestic film composers about original music as an element of dramaturgy. We\u2019ll find out in what way they encapsulate the film\u2019s atmosphere, which methods they use to bring characters closer to us, or how they emphasize a certain mood leading us through the film. Alongside the Sinkauz brothers, the panel will be made up by composers <strong>Jura Ferina, Pavle Miholjevi\u0107<\/strong>, and <strong>Hrvoje \u0160tefoti\u0107<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Due to popular demand, there will be additional screening at the Museum of Contemporary Art of the film <em><strong>Jojo Rabbit<\/strong><\/em> by <strong>Taika Waititi<\/strong> at 5 PM.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s last screening at the Dubrava Public University is reserved for the new film by <strong>Roy Andersson<\/strong>, <em><strong>About Endlessness<\/strong><\/em>, a melancholic-humorous caleidoscope about the banality of existence, life cruelties, but also its beauties.<\/p>\n<p>At 7 PM at the Museum of Contemporary Art, we will screen <em><strong>Monos<\/strong><\/em>, the Columbian Oscar contender whose combination of war film and thriller offers a disturbing and hallucinatory vision of the chaos of war from the unique adolescents\u2019 perspective. The program at the Museum of Contemporary Art continues at 9 PM with another Oscar candidate, <em><strong>Beanpole<\/strong><\/em> by talented <strong>Kantemir Balagov<\/strong>, based on the novel by Nobel laureate Svetlana Alexievich about two young women trying to survive after the war and siege of Leningrad.<\/p>\n<p>It is the last day of the program in KIC Hall. At 7 PM, there is a screening from the My First Film: In Memoriam program, <a href=\"http:\/\/zff.hr\/en\/movies\/performance\/\"><em><strong>Performance<\/strong><\/em><\/a> in memory of the recently deceased British director <strong>Nicolas Roeg<\/strong>.
